Penny Swanson named Nebraska Holstein Girl of 1965
Polk county residents celebrate Penny Swanson of Stromsburg as the state Holstein Girl for 1965 after a Lincoln dinner where she received the champion trophy. The note recalls past Polk county livestock winners and mentions IFYE host possibilities, sheep shearing schools, wool payments, vitamin A salt findings, and county extension updates. The piece also includes a Polk County Treasurer statement fragment from 1964 year end.
