Osceola Nebraska January 2 1962 the Polk County Board of County Commissioners met in regular session with all members present following adjournment. Proceedings record the day’s正式 actions and votes.
Polk County Nebraska audits claims across funds with payments to labor, supplies, insurance, and jail costs. The board sets 1962 salaries for county officials and passes a resolution to widen bank deposit authority to 100 percent with bond security, plus the option to place funds outside the county if needed.
Mr and Mrs Ronald Beins and family and the Lampshire and Adelson clans visited Clarence Johnson and family on Sunday evening. James Lindburg joined Friday coffee guests after the basketball game. Alslie Adelson Judy and Sally visited on Sunday afternoon. York Clarence Johnson and LaVaughn Adelson attended the Ready to Wear Market in Omaha on Tuesday.
The Village Board of Polk met in regular session January 2 1962 at 8 00 p m with all members present except Trustee Babcock. Minutes read and approved. Treasurer and Light and Water reports read and accepted. Bills presented totaling various amounts and paid by warrants. Adjournment taken with Eldon Johnson as Village Clerk.
