The 70 Club meets Tuesday January 16. Luther League meets Thursday January 18 at 7:30 p m.
Polk Nebraska church announces Sunday School Conventionette with Elmer Jr. Logan, pastor. Thursday January 11 at 2:00 p.m. Sunday January 14 features 10:00 a.m. Sunday School for all ages, 11:00 a.m. Morning Worship, and 7:30 p.m. services.
Fifteen members of Rainbow Rebekah Lodge attended in Central City on January 3 to install officers for Rebekah Colfax No. 25 and Odd Fellows Merrick No. 73. A pot-luck lunch followed. The Polk lodge was asked to install officers of four district lodges in Osceola Central City Shelby and Polk.
The Kings Couples of the Baptist Church met Tuesday evening at the home of Mr and Mrs Gordon Fossberg. Devotions and entertainment were led by Mr and Mrs Neal Sandell with assisting hosts Mr and Mrs Don Hanquis.

The Trinity Lutheran ULCW met in church on January 3 with President Edna Crow leading songs. The group received thank you letters from Tabitha Home and others, discussed fund-raising plans, announced a congregational meeting January 14, and presented the program From Continent to Continent led by Laura Green and Joyce Baack.
