Seed Corn Train Arrives in Polk with Lectures and Demos
The seed corn special led by H. J. Gramlich will arrive in Polk at 8 18 Saturday morning March 2. The train has three coaches with charts and demonstration apparatus and a lecture force of five. Lectures occur in each coach and an overflow outside if needed. The statewide tour runs during the week of February 26 under the State Experimental Station and Omaha businessmen funded the project. Farmers are urged to attend and officials consider closing business houses during the train’s stop for a record turnout.

Baptist youth banquet at Lindburg home near Polkton
The B Y P U Society of the Baptist church held its annual banquet for 35 guests at the home of Mr and Mrs C A Lindburg two miles north of Polkton on Thursday evening February 28. Dinner had five courses with pink rose and pink white carnation decorations. Prof Huston acted as toastmaster with toasts on Our Society History What Our Society can do for the new church and The future of the B Y P U. and all present enjoyed the evening.
