The new small yellow mini-bus arrived in Polk and is already in service shuttling elementary students to the high school for PE, easing crowding on the Pep Club bus, and transporting kindergarteners home at noon. Mothers send Cup-O-Soup packs for hot water in church kitchens. Calendar notes junior high and high school events through February 13.

On January 12 Polk Cubs beat Hordville Bulldogs 34 to 33 while Hordville B-team won 17 to 16. January 15 Hordville beat Polk 38 to 33 after double overtime. Cubs B-team responded 8 to 6.
