Christmas Program Lights Up Main Street With Festive Fun

A large crowd enjoyed Community Club Christmas activities on Main Street. Santa handed out candy and nuts while children posed for photos. 25 turkeys were awarded in a free drawing to local residents. In a separate game, the Polk Cubs defeated St. Edward 63-45 as Glasser and Hanquist led with 12 points each, Carlstrom 11, and Glasser pulling down 14 rebounds.

Mrs. Darwin Neuhaus nee Kay Marie Nielsen graduated with distinction from the Teachers College at the University of Nebraska. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education with English major and physical education minor. Attending were her parents and several Nielsen and Neuhaus relatives and friends.
