Hanquist Golden Wedding Celebrated by Family and Friends

Mr and Mrs A J Hanquist marked their Golden Wedding Anniversary after marrying on December 6 1879. A noon turkey dinner and gifts followed by visits from over 150 friends filled the day with congratulations. Local and out of town relatives attended while guests enjoyed lunch hosted by local ladies.

Death of George Wochner at Arborville Home

George H Wochner aged 54 died at his Arborville area home Thursday afternoon after a three month illness. Born in Bloomington Indiana he moved to Nebraska as a youth and lived on a York county farm near Arborville. He leaves a widow two sons a daughter a sister and seven brothers. Funeral was held at the Arborville residence Sunday afternoon with interment in Arborville cemetery.
