Nest Of Rattlesnakes Found By Plow Near Sutton
John Stertz of near Sutton uncovered a nest of seven rattlesnakes in a wheat stubble field while plowing. He killed all with a spade, including an old snake with five rattles and six young ones. Two weeks earlier he had killed a large rattlesnake in the same field, with its rattles torn off.
