The Polk United Methodist Church UMW met in the church parlors on Thursday August 1. Led by Mary Jane Samuels Mae Johnson Eleanor Stromberg Janice Saylor and Erma Adelson the gathering opened with a song then scripture and prayer A show by Ann O Shea of Central City highlighted the program A skit on the rights of women to inherit followed the style show on the 10 best dressed women of the Bible and a discussion on emerging life styles of women Elaine Stromberg presided over the business meeting Lunch hosts were Violet Sundberg Mae Felton Janice Saylor ee Larson and Gwen Lind urg.
