Kande is a 1974 graduate of Hordville High School, attended Kearney State College, and works at Farmers National Bank in Central City. Tom is a 1975 graduate of Hordville High School and engages in carpentry and farming. A September 17 wedding is planned at the United Methodist Church in Central City.

Doctor Raikar Opens Polk Office Mondays
Dr. V. Raikar of Stromsburg will hold Monday morning office hours from 9 to 12 in the former Polk Medical Clinic building starting August 15. He practiced in New York City before moving to the Midwest and previously worked as a physician in India. He and his wife joined him in Stromsburg this summer with two boys enrolled in local schools. The re opening brings local medical access and the Progress wishes him success in Polk.
