For the 1975 76 year Hordville schools will host about 125 students with opening activities on August 27 from 9 00 to 11 30 a m for registration and meetings. Brian Tyler Rated To Teach Flying Blind
Brian Tyler of Salt Lake City Utah earned an Instrument Flight Instructor rating last week enabling him to teach purely by reference to aircraft instruments. He trains at Interwest Aviation and studies Aerospace Science at Westminster College where he will lecture in Aerospace Science this fall. Tyler began flying five years ago at Central City airport under John Hruban, soloed at sixteen, earned a private license at seventeen, then added commercial, multi engine, and instructors ratings. He is a 1972 Polk High School graduate. his father and brother are military pilots with civilian licenses.
