The Platte Valley Baptist Youth Assembly runs August 5 to 12 at Free Mission Camp Grounds Polk with Rev C J Seaquist as dean and Rev R M Bailey camp pastor. Attendees from Omaha Oakland Stromsburg Park Hardville Gothenburg Albion Wyo Mead and more. An experienced faculty leads study hours and activities with Maurice Wessman Walfred Danielson and William Adam guiding sessions. Evening gospel services feature Wessman at 8:00 pm. A junior camp for ages 10 to 15 also operates with afternoon and evening services and a missionary rally on Sunday August 12.

Pioneer Polk Lady Succumbs Tuesday
Mrs. Alfred Gustafson 85 died at home after a lingering illness. Survived by husband and a number of children. Funeral services were held Thursday at the Evangelical Free Church in Polk with Rev M KE Olson delivering the sermon. Obituary will be published next week.

Farmers in Nebraska can obtain all risk crop insurance on winter wheat for the first time since 1943.
