Vocational Courses Offer Opportunity in Columbus Area
Twelve Columbus residents enroll in Manpower Development and Training Act programs receiving auto and tractor mechanics draftsmen and general office clerk training. Upcoming courses include Electric and Gas Appliance Repair starting August 12 at Nebraska Technical School Milford and General Office Training for women starting September 5 in Omaha. The program provides training subsistence and transportation allowances with details at the Columbus Office of the Division of Employment.

Honolulu visitor recalls Blue Hill boyhood roots
Arthur Main of Honolulu Hawaii traveled to Blue Hill Saturday where his father once served as minister. The group met Mrs L Hahn and Natalie. Monday evening Mr and Mrs Paul Stevens drove Main to Grand Island for his return trip to Hawaii. Mrs Clarence Meerkatz visited Mrs Mabel Widga a week ago Monday.
