Delegates from the local post attend the American Legion and Auxiliary state convention in North Platte from Friday to Sunday. Mr and Mrs Dean Myers Mr and Mrs Harold W Anderson and Mr and Mrs Don Miller are listed among the attendees.
Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hanquist and Imogene joined by Mrs. Laura Bolton and family honored the 46th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hanquist with a Sunday dinner hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Don Hanquist.
The East Side Birthday Club met Friday afternoon with Mrs. Joe Ehn honoring the birthday of Mrs. Ehn. She received many nice cards and gifts. A birthday lunch was served to the group by Mrs. Ehn.
Joel Stevens stayed several days in the Eldon Anderson home in York. Mrs. Raymond Poland of Monterey California visits relatives here and leaves by plane with her mother Mrs. Anna Appleton for a few weeks. Mr and Mrs Paul Coover and Marlene supper guests in Lincoln. Mr and Mrs Oscar Sundberg visit daughter and family in Sutton. Mrs H J Bedient and Mrs Oliver Baker attend York garden club breakfast at Bert Kirkpatrick’s. Rev O A Johnson and wife depart for North Carolina to visit daughter and family in Beaufort and attend Bible and Missionary Conference in East Flat Rock before returning August 16.
The County Court of Polk County Nebraska will hold a hearing November 22, 1963 at 10 A.M. in the County Court Room to hear and allow claims against the estate of Tressa Peterson deceased. Creditors must file claims by November 21, 1963 or be barred. Dated July 24 1963 J E Steeple County Judge.
