Wheat quota vote to miss market concerns May 31
Polk County AAA chairman Robert C. Taddiken says the Ever Normal Granary expansion does not affect the wheat situation. He notes a 380 million bushel carryover and a billion and a quarter in sight for the year, with Canada surplus and only one bushel sold per three, so the May 31 marketing quotas referendum remains needed to protect income and reserves.
