A push to add an eleventh grade and hire another teacher circulates with many parent signatures. Without the change tenth graders may have to seek schooling elsewhere after this year. The annual meeting is set for the last Monday in June.

Culture Club Hosts Third Open Meeting at McCunes
The Women's Culture Club gathered at Mr and Mrs McCune’s home last Friday evening with Mesdames Frazier Cox and McCune hosting. Prizes in a money making contest were awarded to H T Frazier. Music accompanied a buffet luncheon followed by an auction of white elephants. Attending were Mrs E E Stanton and her son with spouses.
