Peggy Neeman a 17 year old Polk resident daughters of Mr and Mrs Dick Neeman has been selected as a finalist in the 1977 Miss Nebraska National Teen-Ager Pageant to be held June 10 to 12 at Concordia College Seward Nebraska. The winner advances to Atlanta Georgia August 5 1977 for the national event and earns college scholarships and an all expense paid trip. Contestants are judged on scholastic achievement leadership poise personality and beauty with no swimsuit or talent portion and a 100 word essay on Whats Right About America.
