Village Money Split Between Two Banks After May First

A local report notes village funds will be divided between two banks after May 1. A Tuesday union meeting drew 500 attendees as preachers influence town events. The village marshal aided an aged voter to the polls while two low-tax citizens dieted to defeat Carter.
