Relatives report the death of Tone Nelson Beck wife of Dr Beck of Provo after a stool fall during house cleaning. She toppled and struck her neck breaking a blood vessel and died several hours later despite medical aid. Her aunt is Mrs Regina Thorne of this city.

Funeral services for Nadine Hooley child
Funeral services were held in the Windsor ward chapel for Nadine Hooley eight month old child of Mr and Mrs Howard Hooley. Bishop Stanley B Harris presided. A quartet sang guides and day follows night with other solos and a violin piece. Interment followed at Pleasant Grove cemetery amid a grave dedication by Lewis Olpin. The infant’s father had suffered pneumonia and was brought home from the American Folk hospital days earlier.

Funeral services for George Woodhead head were held in Salt Lake City on Wednesday and the body brought to Pleasant Grove for burial. The grave was dedicated by Mr. Chase of the Reorganized L. D. 5 church. Many Pleasant Grove relatives gathered around the grave. Mrs. Woodhead was Caroline Radmal of Salt Lake City before marriage. The Woodhead family has resided in Salt Lake for twenty years.

The Manila ward Boy Scouts plan a Scout Friendship Fire on June 10 at 8 p m with bonfires at Grease Wood Point Mehogany Mountain and on church grounds. Obituary: Mrs Charlotte Jeffs Simpson Dies at 82
Mrs Charlotte Jeffs Simpson 82 formerly of this city died Saturday in Salt Lake City after funeral services in Salt Lake. Born February 1 1853 in Oxfordshire England she came to Utah with family and lived near Pleasant Grove and later in the Third Ward. She reared a large family and was active in Relief Society and temple work. Her funeral included renditions of Nearer My God To Thee and was conducted by Albert Olson with grave dedication by W W Lim.
