Public swimming begins today at Pleasant Grove Pool with daily sessions 2 30 pm on weekdays and 1 pm Saturdays. Lessons run 9 am to 2 15 pm with options Monday Wednesday Friday or Tuesday Thursday weekly. Registration every weekday 9 am at the pool office and Saturdays at 1 pm. Summer school begins at Utah Tech Provo with dental aiding
Summer session at Utah Technical College at Provo opens June 14 featuring a year round dental assisting class for the first time in summer quarter. Utah Adjusts State Tax Withholding Rate to 24 Percent
Utah State Tax Commissioner Eleanor Lee Brennan announced a June 1 1977 change in withholding. Employers using the percentage method will raise state withholding from 22 to 24 percent of federal withholding to align prepayment with federal amounts, with no net change in ultimate state liability.
