Alpine Ward to Dedicate New Ward Chapel

Alpine ward church in Utah plans a Sunday afternoon dedication on December 27 at 2 p.m. President Heber J. Grant will attend and offer the dedicatorial prayer. The new 1930 building features Utah Fire Clay brick, maple floors, quart ie sawn oak seating, modern lighting, kitchen, Relief Society and Boy Scout rooms, eight classrooms plus a banquet hall, and a 375 seat chapel. the ward has a 330 population and cleared debt to finish the project. The bishopric includes Edward W. Burgess, Earl M. Devey, and John A. Whitby, with J. William Healey as ward clerk.
