Voters Decide Today on Deer Creek Project

Voters head to Lindon polls today to decide joining a Deer Creek water project. Polls opened at 7 PM as the Pleasant Lundon Metropolitan district seeks 500 acre feet of water with construction possibly beginning once enough water is subscribed and sent for final acceptance.

Christmas program and stake leadership changes noted

A Moroni stake program Sunday afternoon highlighted a fine tonal music display directed by Fred Shoell and Charles I. Christiansen with performers including Winona Monty, Carl Clark, Mrs. Meredith, and Manila Cradle Song. Changes in stake presidency placed Mrs Dean Paulson as first counselor and Meron as second counselor, replacing Mrs Rose B. Radmall. Deputy remarks praised the choir and attendance, while a Santa Claus visit and a Christmas program were planned for the Second Ward Sunday School with new ward officers and teachers announced.

Manila Xmas Morning Program Now Arranged

Manila ward members prepare an early morning Christmas program in the ward chapel starting with sacred music at 5 43 a m. Pleasant Grove unit to dissolve December 200

The C.C.C. News Company 1S at Pleasant Grove will disband on December 200. The move ends Utah operations transferring the new community to the ih Corps Area. Camp tasks included timber hauling to Cottonwood Camp and Soapstone areas amid snow. Officials including Captain Tatum and Captain Breedlow visited, inspecting camps and improvements while a farewell dance was held for the disbanding company. Horace Hedges and E. Fields reviewed the camp’s vocational program and aid.
