Phyllis Hasty, 18, daughter of Vic and Mrs. C. V. Hasty of Crestview, was chosen Miss OWJC to reign through 1967 and 1968 at Okaloosa Walton Junior College. She won from eighteen contestants at OWJC's Fourth Annual Miss OWJC Pageant held in Niceville High auditorium.

Quake Shakes Baja California Gulf in Two Day Series
A series of potentially dangerous earthquakes rocked the Gulf of California in Baja California Mexico for a second day. The strongest shock hit at 10 37 a m PST and registered 5 6 on the Richter scale. Smaller quakes followed Monday night and Tuesday morning.

Cars Collide On Bridge Leave Two Dead in Augusta
