Joseph H. Smith visiting relatives in Plattsmouth reported a theft last night at the Hotel Plattsmouth livery barn. While ill and resting, six silver dollars were stolen from his pocketbook and only a dime remained, the war tax, leaving Smith to depart today for Leavenworth Kansas.
