Four Parades Planned for Korn Karnival Week
Four parades are scheduled for Korn Karnival from Sept 23 to 26. The Children parade led by Legion drum corps assembles at the high school at 4 30 on Wednesday. Thursday hosts the Farmers parade at 2 pm led by Farmers Union band with Charley Barnard in charge. Friday features the Pioneer and Merchants parade with about 60 floats, Clem Wester in charge, assembling near the Masonic Home and led by the Legion drum corps. Saturday’s Rural School parade led by the Peru Normal band with Miss Alpha Peterson in charge assembles west of the Masonic Home and moves at 2 30.
