Omaha Girl Killed in Auto Mobile Accident Near Greenwood
Miss Marie Munn thirty of Omaha died after the Nash roadster she drove overturned four miles northeast of Greenwood. Witnesses Melvin Weimer and the Street brothers said she skidded repeatedly before the crash. her head was caught in the top bow. Dr N D Talcott pronounced her dead en route to Greenwood. Sheriff Quinton and County Attorney Cole led the investigation.

Farmer Fredrick Muenchau Dies at 64 in Cass County
Fredrick Muenchau died Saturday morning after a brief illness. Born February 3, 1859 in West Prussia he moved to the United States in 1873 and settled in Cass County Nebraska. He was a progressive farmer, owned land, ran the Public Market at one time, and was active in Ellmwood and neighboring communities. He leaves a widow Lydis Reiter, five sons, three daughters, eighteen grandchildren, a sister, and many friends.

Circus loses dog and finds six puppies after circus departure
After World Brothers circus left the city, Robert Brittain, son of Councilman John C. Brittain, found a white Spitz and five puppies near the Burlington yards. The circus was contacted and Falls City offered a $10 reward for the dog and pups. The mother had escaped during the night to birth the litter and was later traced by circus workers.
