Pioneer Lady Passes Away After Fifty Years in City
Last evening at 5 20 Mrs Jane Ann Dovey a longtime resident died in Plattsmouth. Born in England in 1827 she emigrated to the United States in 1845 and lived in Jersey City East Liverpool Nashville Cincinnati before settling here in 1863. She helped build the community and remained active in St Luke’s church. Her funeral will be at St Luke’s Sunday at 2 PM.

He was knocked unconscious and taken to the freight car department office for revival before a surgeon examined his injuries. He escaped fatal harm but will recall the blow for several days.
