In a Monday tally Blair high squad visited Plattsmouth and battled the Legion to a 0 to 0 tie. SPECIAL CHILDREN'S SERVICE AT ST LUKE'S EPISCOPAL
Yesterday at St Luke's Episcopal Church a special godfather and godmother day service drew parishioners and their children from babes to older youths. The Little Helpers advanced from font roll to the primary church school class as mission boxes were presented. Father W S Leete delivered a sermon on the struggle of might against right with baptism as the Christian force while the choir offered fitting hymns.

Returns from sad mission for Minnear family in Cass county
Gustin Minnear of Dunbar and four sons traveled to Lafayette Indiana to lay to rest the wife and mother who died early last week. A O Minnear of Danville Edward Minnear of Lafayette and daughter Mrs Mattie Kempster of Lafayette survive. Seven children sixteen grandchildren attended the funeral held at the Lafayette Methodist church with burial in Springvale cemetery.

Aged Cass County Man Wim B Davis Dies at 94
Wim B. Davis born September 30 1827 in Hardin County Tennessee died at 2 15 pm last Saturday. He lived in Cass County Nebraska most of his life near Union for sixty two years and served as postmaster on his farm. He married Sarah Simmons May 2 1847 and left a widow, three children, and several grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at the Union Methodist church by Rev. W A Taylor with old neighbors in attendance.
