Murray Man Attempts Death by Own Action at Omaha
Dalby-Jess Baker a 22 year old Murray resident attempted suicide in Omaha. He bought a revolver in a pawn shop on Douglas street and shot himself in the left breast. He was taken to Lord Lister hospital in very serious condition. He had been staying at the Keystone hotel and had recently moved to Omaha seeking work with Burlington at Gibson. He cited years of stomach trouble and heart issues as motive.

Green Wood Burglary Suspects Captured by Sheriff Reed
Sheriff Bert Reed and Deputy Rex Young brought John Burke and Joe Richards to Lincoln after they were caught burglarizing the Anderson Cope store in Greenwood. Suspects followed by Walter and Alonzo Stewart, and captured by local marshal George Trunkenbolt with State Sheriff Condit and deputies.
