John Klaurens May Be Released From Prison Soon

Work on Burlington depot to resume after plan overhaul

The Burlington depot project in the city will restart with a 34 foot north extension and added interior changes. A west side passageway will link two waiting rooms, new toilet facilities, extended north office, and a rebuilt platform with 200 feet of northward extension and track switches to improve service for employees and travelers.

Close of School Celebrated at Bestor School House

From Saturdays Daily Yesterday the Bestor school district west of the city held a picnic at the grove by the schoolhouse to mark the close of the year. Miss Nova Batton organized a program that the pupils performed well before sixty attendees enjoyed games and a big picnic dinner under the trees.
