Geraldine Schwatka, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Schwatka, born February 18 1921, died at three months and one day. Funeral at the Omaha home Sunday at 10, burial at Oak Hill Cemetery at 2. Mrs. Schwatka, formerly Fern Lair, was daughter of J Lair, long-time local residents.

Funeral services for eleven year old Edmund Francis Eagan of Seneca Nebraska were held at St Johns Catholic church at nine this morning. The body was brought from the west on No 2 and laid to rest at his grandmother Mrs Mary Wales home where it stayed until the funeral hour. Deep sympathy from many friends accompanies the bereaved family.

Death of Glenwood resident Marion Scott aged 87
Marion Scott longtime Glenwood resident and Civil War veteran died at his home Tuesday after a lengthy illness. He was 87 and father of Mrs. A. L. Conner, with four daughters and one son surviving. Funeral services were held this afternoon at his Glenwood home conducted by Rev. Thompson. Attending were Thomas Wiles and wife and Rev. and Mrs. A. G. Hollowell and Mr. and Mrs. Sterns.

A Victrola was stolen from the district twenty nine school house six miles northwest of Plattsmouth last night. A neighbor who saw people casing the building recognized them but did not intervene. If the machine is not returned by Wednesday May 25, the thieves will be prosecuted and may face penitentiary time.
