Brother Dies in Stromsburg After Pneumonia Fight

Auto Collision Near Brisco Park Injures Passengers
A Buick driven by Muriel Streight collided with a Ford driven by Ed Becker on Sixth Street. The impact pushed Streight’s car toward Brisco, hitting A. F. Stander’s parked vehicle and tearing a tail light. No injuries were reported, estimated damage about fifty dollars. Police had warned about speeding prior to the incident.

Disastrous Fire at Berlin Injures Buildings and Station
A severe fire in Berlin Nebraska Otoe county destroyed the Missouri Pacific passenger station an elevator and the mill plus several other buildings south of Avoca. The origin is unknown and damage totals are not yet clear. Reports say flames were still burning late this morning as witnesses arrived by train.
