Donald Wall age 19 and Glen Carlburg 18 from Plattsmouth are in Jennie Edmundson hospital Council Bluffs after a Sunday night crash on Sixteenth street in which Wall's car collided with one driven by J H McClurg Underwood Iowa. Wall suffers a suspected broken back and head injuries while Carlburg has a broken nose ears and leg injuries. Girls Eleanor Connor and Bernice Jones remain at Mercy hospital in fair condition.

Plattsmouth Man Victim of Omaha Stickup
Mr and Mrs Arnold Lillie of Plattsmouth were robbed near the city auditorium in Omaha after a wrestling event. A masked gunman demanded money, taking about 54 dollars from Mr Lillie who fought back and knocked the attacker down. The robbers fled toward the railroad yards and the couple returned home without reporting the incident immediately.

Death of John Harvey Henegar an old Weeping Water resident
John Harvey Henegar born August 11 1854 in Smith county Virginia died March 25 1939 at his Weeping Water home after a year long illness. He married Susan L Benom fifty nine years ago in Virginia and moved to Nebraska in 1888. He and his wife joined the United Brethren church and raised ten children four of whom survive with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral and burial were in Weeping Water Oakwood cemetery with out of town mourners listed from Torrington Wyoming Council Bluffs Plattsmouth Union and Lincoln.

Insurance suit over unpaid unemployment tax in Nebraska quarry case
In a county court action under the state unemployment insurance act, Vincent W. Kinney of the Nebraska Insurance Department sues Ole Olson doing business as Olson Quarries. The six count complaint alleges Olson Quarries employed more than eight persons at various times and failed to pay the required one percent unemployment tax to the state fund.
