Fire damages at John Hatt & Son store on Main street
Firefighters were called to extinguish a Sunday morning blaze in the cellar of the John Hatt & Son store. The fire started from worn chimney soot near egg crates, charred flooring, and threatened the timber but was quickly controlled with a new spray nozzle.
