Diver Locates Drowning Victim Body in Missouri River
John Richter, who recently arrived from California, located the body of Mrs. Clarenceman 23 after hours of search in the Missouri River. Divers from the Omaha Bevertermenger rescue squad assisted, bringing the body to the surface and to Sattler funeral home for services on Wednesday at 10 a.m. with interment at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Picnic trip by church groups to Riverview park

Sarah Ellen Stones daughter of George and Mary Stones was born in Green county Missouri on June 6 1877. She lived in Missouri then moved to England at age ten and returned to Missouri at fourteen before relocating to Cass county Nebraska where she spent the rest of her life. She died June 19 1936 at the Propst home where she had lived twenty three years. Funeral services were held at the home with Rev W C Wright and Rev W A Taylor officiating and hymns rendered by Mrs Hal Garnett and Frank A Cloidt. Interment followed at Pleasant Ridge cemetery with pallbearers Ed G Meisinger Fred Tschirren H G Meisinger George Kaffenberger Jr John B Kaffenberger.
