Dance Pavilion Destroyed by Night Fire North of Mynard
Fire destroyed a 24 by 48 foot dance pavilion at the William Kelly farm five miles northwest of Mynard early today suspected arson. A nearby 3500 bushel corn crib survived. Deputy Sheriff Jarvis Lancaster and the state fire marshal were alerted for a thorough inquiry.

Death of 6 year old Shirley Webber
Shirley Webber six died in an Omaha hospital after a brief illness. She was the daughter of Mr and Mrs L A Webber of Murray. The body came from Sattler Funeral Home to Murray, where the funeral will be held June 10 at 9:30 at the Murray church before interment in Thurman Iowa.
