Sunday Services at Plattmouth Churches Highlight Growth
The First Methodist church held a memorable service with a confirmation of forty, thirty adults, and the Lord's Supper as pastor Austin led the rituals. Children’s day drew a large audience in two rooms, with Miss Balser, Miss Edna Morrison, and Miss Violet Froese praised for training. A fund for educating needy students was discussed as Mrs. Hayes shared personal benefit from the loan program. The Sunday school average attendance for the past quarter was 227.
