A large crowd watched cigarmakers defeat bartenders in a chaotic fast baseball game. The cigarmakers dominated 14 to 4 then repeated 7 to 6 in a rematch amid disputed umpiring and crowd reactions.

Plattsmouth routs C. B. Q. in one sided game

Plattsmouth defeated the C. B. Q. team of Omaha with a large, one sided score as Bardwell pitched brilliantly in his second start for Plattsmouth. Mann at third and strong team play supported a top performance by the home club while the visitors fielded poorly and failed to threaten. Umpire G. B. Hl T Matten received a telegram from W Graseman of Alliance announcing Mrs Grassman formerly Blanche Batten is gravely ill. Batten is urged to come at once and may travel to Alliance this afternoon. Hope remains for a speedy recovery despite the grave news.
