Mysterious Rural Assault Leaves Byers Injured Near Rock Bluffs
Walters Byers lies in a critical condition at his Rock Bluffs home after a wagon crash and suspected assault following a day of heavy drinking with Ed Wilcox. Police expect a full investigation into possible foul play as Byers recalls only a gasoline can spill and a blank in memory.
