The first commencement events at Alvo consolidated school ran March 21 to May 28 in Hichs Heal auditorium. The Senior class staged a Senior CIS Day program with a valedictory and a new clock donated to the high school. Deacon Dubbs performed to a full house, praised by attendees. HM W Caldwell of the State University history department spoke on Americas history and patriotism. School closed with a picnic at the schoolhouse.
