The Sorority Sisters gave musical highlights, Major R S Libby delivered afternoon and evening lectures on civilization past and present and urged a League of Nations. Despite rain, crowds were large, and organizers hope for public support next year.

Funeral of Pioneer Jon Wise Held in Plattsmouth
The body of Jonathan Newton Wise was brought from Omaha to Plattsmouth for a Masonic led service at the First Presbyterian Church and burial at Oak Hill Cemetery. Wise, a Cass county pioneer and long time public servant, was born in 1832 and died in Omaha after residing there with his family, leaving a legacy of civic and Masonic leadership.

Obituary of Benjamin S. Bain Pioneer Citizen Dies at Home
Benjamin Selman Bain, born March 19 1846 in Drakesville Iowa, died June 6 at his northwest of city home. He married Mary Louise Pauly on July 4 1869 and had fourteen children, nine living, with twenty two grandchildren. He lived in Iowa Kansas and Oklahoma, joined Freemasonry in 1881, and funeral rites were held at the Christian church with Tonkawa Lodge No 187 A F and A M.
