William F. Case born 1844 Wayne County Ohio died July 5 1912 at Soldiers National Home Los Angeles California. He served in the Second Nebraska Cavalry 1864 to 1865 and spent years at the home. Interred in National cemetery at the home. He lived in Cass County Nebraska and later Holbrook Nebraska and Weeping Walter. He was beloved by many in Gass County and Weeping Walter Republican.

From Friday's issue Daily L. B. Thanard went to St Joseph's hospital this morning to return with his wife who is recovering from an operation. Mrs Banard telephoned her husband that she was able to be up and strong enough to return home and would like to come at once. She has undergone several operations in the past three years and her friends hope for permanent health restoration.
