A 25 person gathering at Mr and Mrs George Shrader home near Arriles Colorado brought together former Cass County residents now living in Lincoln County. A 16th century painting similar to Raphael’s school was examined by art expert Milliler and declared the work of Undine, not Raphael. Its value would have been about 500000 if genuine. the painting dates to around 1560 and is linked to Raghal head school, with no direct ties to Raphaels or vases. Dr. Livingston received the report and awaits further confirmation.

The 1922 year end in Steamboat Springs brought sadness with the death of Ed ward Furlong a leading citizen and business man. He died suddenly from heart trouble after a day at home with his wife and newborn. Survived by wife Nellie Taylor and four children Grace Ruth Edward Jr Virginia, a fifth child Doris died in 1922. He led Boy Rangers supported youth activities and local clubs. He leaves four brothers and several nephews and held Masonic and Eastern Star offices and was active in civic groups.
