Miss Alyce Ptak and Mr. Fred Sharpnack of Lincoln married Tuesday night at the Christian church parsonage in Glenwood Iowa in a quiet ceremony. The bride daughter of Mr and Mrs Emmons Ptak of this city, recently graduated from Plattsmouth High School and worked at Lincoln Telephone. The groom travels as traveling salesman for Pepperbure Cigar Co. They will reside in Glenwood as he continues to travel the region.

The device, tested while he worked as a railroad welding inspector, aims to speed up and simplify rail welding and has been patented by the Burlington railroad, giving Crandall full title to the invention.
