Funeral of F W Sisson Recalls Brown County Pioneer
Mr and Mrs Henry Guthmann of Murdock traveled from Ainsworth Nebraska after attending the funeral of F W Sisson in Tampa Florida held December 28. Sisson, born October 9 1852 in Hamden Ohio, arrived in Brown County in 1882 and built a mercantile business, later moving to Florida for health. He is survived by his wife Nellie Warner and four daughters and a son, with several relatives listed in this obituary.

The bride, youngest daughter of the late Henry Meisinger, is beloved in Cass County. the groom, a farmer, is nephew of the late Martin Frederick and well known locally.
