Wreck injures brakeman as three freight trains collide
A 4 30 a m wreck at the local yards involved three freight trains. Brakeman Stratton was trapped in a burning caboose and rescued after about ninety minutes. another brakeman, Brown, suffered cuts and bruises. The crash damaged engines and cars, stalled main lines, and forced detours. an Oreapolis operator was blamed and a railroad investigation ordered.

Death of Mrs Stella Nagel Reported From Boise
Mr and Mrs S Lindholm receive word from Boise Idaho of the death of their daughter Stella Nagel. She was married in this city recently and had lived in Boise briefly. She will be buried tomorrow at Valparaiso Nebraska with brother Elmer and Ernest and sister Mabel traveling. The cause of death was not stated though it was believed to be related to a recent operation. The Lindholms express deep sympathy to all.
