Mrs. Laura Johnson reports a monster egg found while gathering eggs near Mynard. The egg measured seven and a half inches around and eight and a half inches long with a smaller egg inside, both with perfect shells and yolks. The hen is credited with laying two perfect eggs in one day.

Death Comes To Ole War Veteran Isbell
N. H. Isbell, 78, longtime Plattsmouth resident, died at a Hot Springs hospital after illness. A Civil War Union veteran born in Indiana, he moved west in 1880, married Allen Beeson’s eldest daughter, and lived in Plattsmouth until his wife’s death. Survived by three sisters and two adopted sons whose whereabouts are unknown.

Two Boys Held In Bicycle Theft Case
Warren Harmer aged about 14 and Virgil Dixon about 11, residents of Weeping Water Nebraska, were arrested by police and jailed awaiting their fathers. They admit stealing a bicycle owned by Painter from Mayor Frank Thomas’s Greggport home yesterday morning. They were caught near Burdal stock farm while headed home, after spending Wednesday night in a northwest haystack. Parents promised to fetch them today.

Death of H S Batton Reported in West Virginia
H S Batton, born 1838 in what is now West Virginia, died after a long illness in Parkersburg, leaving a son H T Batton of this city and daughter Mrs Sarah E H Carter.
