Murray died as his car plummeted sixty feet to the Nebraska side, while Bulin escaped serious harm though her finger was bruised by a cut ring. The incident caused panic among passengers.

The Parmele theater hosted a three act musical comedy A Quest for a Gown produced by Fontenelle chapter D A R with Miss Edith Dovey as Margaret and Wade Martin as Ronald Crane delivering strong performances. Bruce Rosencrans Junes Marshall George Dovey and others drew laughs and praise from a delighted audience. The young cast trained under Mrs Laird Miss Alderman and Ellen Pollock Minor organized details and brought the show to a high standard.

Four Mile Greek on a Boom and Doing Damage
Flood conditions from warm weather with melting snow have swollen the Four Mile and Pappio creeks in Sarpy County Nebraska. The Missouri Pacific line near La Platte was washed out and trains detoured while the Four Mile crossing flooded depots and caused the drowning of two horses and loss of stock during a move from Mynard. The hired man narrowly escaped drowning.

Death comes to Mrs Anna Bulin in Plattsmouth
Mrs. Anna Bulin died at 3 30 am in her Lincoln Avenue home after a long illness from stomach cancer. Born in Austria about 54 years ago, she and husband B J Bulin moved to America and settled in Plattsmouth twenty years ago. Survived by husband, eight children James Otto Joseph Edward Marie Rosa Barbara and Mrs Fred Rice, all but Mrs Rice reside in Plattsmouth. Funeral Monday at 2 pm from the home, with services by the Bohemian Lodge Z C B J.

Shooting at Rent Dispute Ends With Wound at Cook Home
This afternoon at the Cook residence a dispute over rent led to a shooting. Arlo McClaren received a gunshot wound to the lower back when a confrontation with W P Cook escalated after McClaren attempted to move the shotgun. McClaren was taken for treatment and Cook was arrested pending case outcome.
