David Robinson well known high school student and MINK contest winner in tenor section narrowly escaped a serious accident Saturday afternoon. While carrying packages at Sam Giventer store he was struck as he moved between parked cars by a vehicle from Iowa, flung to the paving and left with a scalp wound. He received treatment from Dr. Westover then returned home to recover.

Child Hurt By Orange Seed In Windpipe In Omaha
The seven month old son of Mr and Mrs Elmer Chamberlain of Omaha was fed an orange when a seed lodged in his windpipe causing coughing. Medical aid tried to remove it at a hospital but could not. Due to the infant’s age a surgical removal was not performed and efforts continued to dislodge the seed. He is the grandson of Mr and Mrs J G Lohnes and nephew of Elmer Martin and Louis Lohnes.

A heart attack proved fatal to the highly esteemed lady who was born March 4 1858 in Lovilla Iowa and married James B Coleman February 15 1881. She is survived by her husband a son Bart Coleman of Plattsmouth and two sisters Miss Elizabeth Cloak and Mrs W G Guild of Omaha. The family asks for sympathy from friends.
