Country Home Burns to Ground Near Highway 75
A morning fire at 10 o clock destroyed the Monte Streight residence two miles north of the city near highway No 75. Ray Misner of Lincoln Telephone rushed to alert the occupants and the Flattsmouth fire department fought the blaze but it burned to the ground. The house owner now resides in Oakland California and investigators suspect an overheated chimney as the cause.

Judge W C Parriott longtime Auburn Lincoln attorney died suddenly Thursday in Washington where he served in the federal housing administration under the Roosevelt administration. Funeral for Mrs Stoner Held at Sattler With Community Rites
The funeral of Mrs EFelle Stoner was held Thursday at the Sattler funeral home. A large attendance from Glenwood and Omaha gathered to pay tribute.
