At the referee sale conducted by J. M. Leyda at the south door of the courthouse, the Theodore Boedeker farm of about 200 acres south of Louisville was sold to T. E. Parmele, Louisville banker, for 16200. Parmele’s bid was second. the first bidder refused to raise it, and the land was knocked off after an hour.

One more longtime Plattsmouth citizen has died at his South Park residence. Joseph Koubek aged about 72, born in Mora, Minnesota, died after stomach illness. He leaves wife, one daughter and three sons Anton Omaha, Frank and Joseph Plattsmouth. He lived in Plattsmouth 27 years worked for Burlington shops and was highly esteemed for kindness and family devotion.

Former Lincoln mayor and ex state representative Robert B. Graham died suddenly at his home on South Fourteenth Street after a weeklong grip illness. Born in 1842 in New York, he moved to Nebraska in 1860, built a grist mill, served in the state house and Lancaster County treasurer, then Lincoln city council and mayor. Survived by his widow and four children. funeral plans to be announced.

Stranger Found Frostbitten on Street After Long Journey
Last night night watchman John Wilgpatwick found a man on the street with a frozen foot and pain claiming he was sent from Louisville to Plattamouth for care. Police took him to jail where guard J A Denson shared supper during his stay under night watch George Lytle. The man spoke of a trogen foot and past work in Colorado as he traveled toward his friends.
